Our assessor's specialise in age‑related driving considerations like cognitive changes, visual issues, reaction time, and medical conditions, and we translate those findings into practical, easy‑to‑understand guidance.

And unlike other assessment services, we conduct the assessment in the clients area. The assessment will consist of;

 

• An eyesight check (reading a number plate from 20 metres

​

• A physical (assessing range of movement, strength and co-ordination)

​

• A cognitive (around 15 minutes to assess the way the brain works)

​

• Then the drive which will last around 30-minutes.

​

If they only drive locally and they do not have cognitive issues which could lead to them getting lost, the assessment route will replicate that. However, if the driver does venture further or there is the possibility they may get lost, the assessment will last longer to cater those areas or types of roads.
